One flicker of hope. That’s all it takes to catapult yourself into the life you’ve always imagined. Success is not born out of skill, school, where we’re from, who we know, or what we scored on the SAT. None of us were born ready. None of us started life knowing how to fly a plane or launch a company or knit a sweater for our dog. But we are born with something more important than skills. We’re born with optimism—the initial seed for success. Optimism fuels the belief that you can be the one to create the good the world needs. But you’ve got to hone it. And practice it. We often think of celebrations as centering around special occasions, like Birthdays, Christmas, or other holidays. But there is no need to wait for those times. Everyday is a cause for celebration. The very fact that you are alive, the wondrous world around you, and the special people in your life are all reasons to rejoice. That's what this book is all about. Over 500 suggestions for living life to the fullest. A compendium of "glass half full" common sense, these witty and wise words from both the rich and famous, as well as the not-so-rich and the not-so-famous, will, I hope, inspire you to make every day a special day. Pianist Artur Rubinstein once said, "To be alive, it's all a miracle." Yes indeed, it is all a miracle, and all a cause for celebration.

Brightside Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Brightside: A Psychological Thriller Imagine a world where the person next to you—stranger, friend, lover—can creep into your mind and steal your most intimate thoughts. Now imagine you are the Thought Thief who is so greatly feared that your freedom and your life are threatened. Welcome to Brightside…you won’t be leaving. Brightside takes a unique twist on the psychic phenomena of telepathy. The fearful masses panic and create Brightside, a town that is essentially a prison. Protagonist Joe Nolan is one of the many Thought Thieves who have been rounded up and forced to live in Brightside, with little hope of ever leaving. Suspense builds as Joe finds himself on a mission to break free on his 100th day of captivity. "THAT’S WHY THEY’VE ROUNDED US UP, STUCK US IN THIS LITTLE TOWN. IT’S TO MAKE YOU FEEL SAFE. BUT THEY CAN’T KEEP US HERE FOREVER. IT’S DAY 100 AND IT’S ALL GONNA END. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, I’M GETTING OUT OF BRIGHTSIDE." The reviews tell why Brightside should be your next read:"A well-written and well-executed story by first-time author Mark Tullius. It reads like a gritty, postmodernism novel similar to Blade Runner or A Scanner Darkly. Very interesting character development and plot elements, especially since the protagonist can't hide anything. A quick and fast read that keeps you glued to the pages." - eNovel Reviews “Brightside is a fiction novel about a believable "now" where a large population of the world are telepathic, or "Thought Thieves" as they call them in the book. The fearful and ignorant masses cause panic and mass arrests and institutionalization of these individuals, who are sent to a "island in the sky" called Brightside, which is basically a prison on top of a mountain. The book follows Joe and his journey through 100 days at Brightside, and the people he interacts with along the way.”Add Brightside to your bookshelf today!

Waves in Focal Regions Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Using numerous mathematical and numerical techniques of diffraction theory, Waves in Focal Regions: Propagation, Diffraction and Focusing of Light, Sound and Water Waves provides a full and richly illustrated description of waves in focal regions. Unlike most books, the author treats electromagnetic, acoustic, and water waves in one comprehensive volume. After an introductory section, the book describes approximate diffraction theories and efficient numerical methods to study the focusing of various kinds of waves. It then covers the physical interpretation of the theories, their accuracy, and the computational savings obtained, emphasizing uniform asymptotic results that remain valid in the vicinity of shadow boundaries and caustics. The next part deals with the focusing of scalar waves, including thorough theoretical analyses and detailed contour maps of diffraction patterns in focal regions for a variety of different system parameters, such as f-number, Frensel number, aperture shape, amplitude distribution, and wavefront aberration. The author proceeds to explore the diffraction and focusing of electromagnetic waves. First solutions are derived for fields radiated by sources, reflected and refracted at plane interfaces, or diffracted by apertures in plane screens, and then these solutions are applied to study the focusing in homogeneous media and through a plane dielectric interface. In both cases, the author includes many computed results of the electromagnetic field distribution near focus. Presenting both theoretical and experimental results, the following part examines the focusing of sound and water waves by means of zone-plate lenses. The book concludes with a detailed study of the diffraction and focusing of water waves and a comparison of the results of both linear and nonlinear theories with those of experiments.

The Wisdom of Aramis Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
The new book of essays by poet and publicist Elia Pekica Pagon titled The Wisdom of Aramis talks about real-life treasures as opposed to false ones. It emphasizes all that really matters in life through simple truths from our everyday lives. The Wisdom of Aramis provides us with profound messages drawn from the lessons we can learn from our best friends and most devoted companions, our furry angels. It is a book dedicated to the author’s beloved pug, Aramis Giving of Good, who will always stay in her heart and who will fill the hearts of the readers with such a great sentiment of love, peace, tolerance, and compassion. The book talks about the joy of unconditional love, about deep compassion and inner peace, about the importance of acceptance and sincere kindness, about the magic of patience and miraculous coincidences. The book gives us the chance to discover a better world and a better version of ourselves through our self-awareness through which we can truly get to know ourselves, find our place in this world and beyond, and live in perfect harmony with nature and the entire universe. There is so much to learn from our pets. Everything we love about them is what we miss most in our lives, and that is true friendship—a pair of sincere eyes, a face without a social mask, someone to be here for us when no one else is, someone to understand us and love us unconditionally. We enjoy their company because they help us be who we really are, and they teach us how to enjoy our lives and this world in such a lovely way. Our beloved companions help us find our inner peace, and that’s exactly how we can establish universal peace—by bringing peace into our lives.

Guide Book of How to Obtain Pureness of Heart Required to Enter Heaven Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Even if you think you don't need any help with your life, I am sure there is someone in your orbit that you love that does. By understanding the principles and information in this book, you can help them. And I believe almost everyone has someone they wish to help. It is frustrating when you want to help but don't know how. That might not be enough reason for you to want to buy this book. So let's go into what you learn from it. We all are governed by the rules of the spirit world. I call these rules AVP--the Alternate Viewpoint System. You will not only learn how the spirit world operates but what to expect when you get there. I think that piece of information would be valuable since fear of death is really fear of the unknown. This book was my task from before my previous life, as Elizabeth Reilly. Yes, my veil was lifted in 1989. I had a need to know, you see. So that brings us to the most important obstacle to using AVP. The entire system is predicated on the FACT that we have all lived before. That's why I couldn't proceed until Sharon Holt did her job. Yes, that was a planned event. When you accept the fact that you have lived before, you can also accept that you are in the proper place to learn lessons--the real reason we are here. That means you don't need to be jealous, envious, covetous, or do anything harmful against anyone. If you read this book, you will know how to fight temptation and desire. You will learn to purge you past of negative traits. Then, of course, you will learn how to purge the negative out of your heart and replace it with love, kindness, humility, and forgiveness, vital for a pure heart and required to get into heaven!
